About Us

Technology For Industry Ltd (TFI) was founded in 1992 to help build businesses based on emerging and disruptive technologies. We bridge the gap between research groups and industry establishing ourselves as UK leaders within the micro and nanotechnology consultancy sector. Our client base has extended from the UK across Europe into Canada and the USA.

About Us

Technology For Industry (TFI) was founded in 1992 to help translate technology from academic research into the market and build new businesses where micro and nanotechnology converge with biotechnology.

Who We Are

TFI draws on the knowledge and the practical experience of our high level consultants as well as a selected group of expert associates who work closely with TFI when required on specific projects.

From the development of innovative strategies right through to their successful delivery, all of our work and support is based on deep insight and expertise in key market sectors and emerging technologies. We have been particularly successful in building ‘triple helix’ partnerships between the private and public sector and academia. Our particular strengths are in the medical, specialty chemical, electronics and photonics sectors.

As an independent company, we have no exclusive alliances with third parties, hence the advice we give to clients, and the work we deliver, are based only on what is best for our clients’ business.

TFI’s methodologies are founded on our strength of understanding of our markets, our responsiveness to our clients’ needs, and our continuous focus on delivery. We recognise that each client and each problem has its own challenges and issues. Our solutions are therefore tailored to our clients’ specific circumstances, drawing on the deep industry insight of our consultants.

At TFI, we aim to give client value whilst achieving the highest level results. We enjoy seeing projects right through from concept to delivery. Please see our client testimonials for their comments on how we have delivered significant and measurable value to them.
